The Nashville Predators NHL Hockey team made it to the 2008 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The first game will be on Monday April 14th in Nashville at the Sommett Center. They have asked Damon and his band to be the pre-game entertainment during the Pre-Game Plaza Party at 4pm. They are shutting down 5th Avenue for the pre-game pep rally. Damon has been performing for the Nashville Predators for the last 3 seasons. He seems to be a crowd favorite. March 27, 2008 Damon will be performing his 2nd Music Industry Showcase on April 23rd at The Rutledge in downtown Nashville. The previous show was a great performance with a packed house of music industry exec's, and fans alike. February 3, 2008Damon has scheduled his first Industry/ Record Label showcase to be held on February 13th at The Rutledge in downtown Nashville. As we all know, Damon has taken an independent stand with his musical career over the last many years to much success, but now feels that he needs to partner with a record label to continue his growth and maturity as forefront Entertainer. This showcase is open to the public and I urge you to attend the 6pm event.December 21, 2007Damon continuously appears at the CMA Country Music Festival. His charismatic performances and stellar reputation garnered him invitations to perform on the Chevy and Acoustic Corner stages, and in 2007, he completed his sixth and most successful year at the famed festival, greeting fans who stood in line in excess of two hours to meet this young sensation. Damon also held his 4th annual fan club party which was held at B.B. King's Club in downtown Nashville. There are several hundered people in attendance each year.September 12, 2007

June 12, 2007Damon just completed the 2007 CMA Music Festival. This was Damon's 5th year as an Artist at the World's largest country music festival. He signed autographs for several hours at his booth on Friday and Saturday, as his lines were once again a 2 hour wait. On Saturday Damon held the 4th annual Nomad Party at BB Kings in downtown Nashville. The band performed a 45 minute set of new music and some songs that Damon has on his first independent CD. They closed the show with 2 great cover songs that had the whole crowd dancing and getting down. Singer/Songwriter Becky Hobbs was Damon's special guest and she also did a great insightful interview with Damon. Becky has had cuts with numerous artist and is best know for her monster ballad "Angels Among Us," for supergroup Alabama.April 15, 2007The relentless tour schedule has been keeping the band redhot with performances in many different states. The new tourbus is getting broken in very well. Damon was recently added to the mainstage at the huge Country USA Festival in Oshkosh, Wisconsin in June of this year. They expect the crowd to push 200,000 hard core country music fans.March 15, 2007As many of you know Damon has been tearing up the road for the last 10 years, working on becoming that "overnight success" as they call it. He is proud to announce the addition of a new tourbus for he and the band. Damon has traveled in a number of vehicles getting to and from the shows, but now has a great a great bus to call home on the road. January 15, 2007Damon Smith and his band recently played a sold-out show with the Grammy nominated group "Little Big Town." The show took place at The Red Rooster in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The standing room only crowd showed outrageous support for Damon and the band during their hour and fifteen minute opening set. The crowd sang along to all the songs and screamed with applause while Damon threw out Budweiser Select merchandise with his high-energy performance. "Soundcheck" "Showtime"

January 8, 2007The 2006 year was the biggest and best yet for Damon Smith and his team. They played over 150 shows all over the country and gained a lot of new fans, had chart topping radio success, and built the best band up to this date. Every club/venue that they have played has asked for them back as there high energy stage show has brought down the house nightly. We all know that 2007 will be "The Year" for Damon Smith. August 24, 2006The guys have been staying very busy on the road since the CMA Music Festival. Damon has also been recording a few new tunes for the record in Nashville. I know that we all look forward to hearing what his next unique sound will be. So keep listening and attending the shows!!

Jun 20th, 2006Damon and the band just completed their 5th year at the CMA Music Festival in Nashville. The band performed (7) shows in just 4 days during the festival. New fans from all over the world stood in line to meet Damon and the guys. The performances took place at BB Kings, The Nashville Convention Center, CMA Chevy Stage, Double E, and the Wildhorse Saloon. The lines for Damon's booth had to have an overflow section down the wall of the convention center, with security only letting four people at a time to join the line closer to the booth. The team fills like it was an extreme success, the fan club continues to grow and so do the crowds. Thank you Nomads!!!

May 8th, 2006Damon will join Linda Davis, John Berry, T. Graham Brown, Marty Raybon and Rich McCready for the Higgins Music Group show during the CMA Music Festival. Damon will be performing with his full band at 4pm June 8th at BB Kings.

Damon has had some great success with his first single across the United States and abroad. The single has received rave reviews and chart action. Damon and the band are gearing up for another year at CMA Music Festival. The Nomad Party will be held again at BB King's at 4pm on June 10. Damon is proud to be an new official member of the Country Music Association. This will allow him to vote and attend the annual CMA Awards as well as becoming a member of the historic Country Music Family. Damon also became a member of the Academy of Country Music, which offers many of the same type benefits as the CMA. Congratulations Damon!!!!!

"Jesus Runs With The Rough Crowd," has moved up 13 spots to #6 on the Christian Music Weekly (Christian Country) Chart this week. This is an overwhelming jump after debut on the chart 2 weeks ago. Let's get it to #1. The Powersource magazine only comes out monthly, so we are excited to see the jump on that chart later this month. Please stay tuned for more information.

January 18, 2006Damon's 1st single "Jesus Runs With The Rough Crowd," has now charted. It entered the Christian Music Weekly (Christian Country) Chart at the #18 spot. The song was also the #1 most added song in the nation, 3rd most popular, respectively. It also made it's debut on the Powersource Christian Country chart at the #69 spot, and #62 on the International Christian Country Chart. Let's watch move up that chart....

January 10, 2006Damon and the guys are gearing up for a great 2006. They begin the new year with shows in Tennessee, Georgia, Maryland, Ohio, Illinois, and Arkansas. We just found out that several nationally syndicated programs have added it into rotation, taking the total number to over 500 stations, yes that's right 500 are now playing "Jesus Runs With A Rough Crowd". August 30, 2005Damon and the band just returned from a 3 week tour through the Eastern coast of the United States. During this journey, they made stops in Louisville, KY, Charleston, WV, Lynchburg, VA, Alexandria, VA, Rehobeth Beach, DE, and Hanover, MD. The crowds were very responsive to Damon's original music and danced the nights away to all the other great songs that Damon plays. It already sounds like DS and TBM will be heading back east in the future. Damon's brand new single is getting spins on the Washington DC station. Damon said that he was very excited that people were being exposed to his music.

July 20, 2005Damon's new single, "Jesus Runs with a Rough Crowd," was released two weeks ago to several radio stations around the country. The stations report that they have received very favorable reviews and continued requests of the song. It has been especially popular in Lake City, FL, Farmville, VA, Charleston, WV, and Damon's hometown of Ada, OK. Looking forward to you hearing it in your town soon!

We have been working our tails off in the office and on the road for the last several years, and I am starting to see the progress we have made. I think that is important. Country music has the best fans in the world. I am so honored to meet so many of them," says Damon.

Damon Smith and the beautiful mistakes just returned from a 22 day tour throughout the Northwestern, US. During this tour, they played shows in Wyoming and Nevada. The casino in Nevada was a previous tour stop in 2004, and the band was asked back for a 2-week headlining performance in the casino's main showroom. During the run, Damon played his much anticipated upcoming single on several radios shows. Stay tuned for more details.

February 19, 2005Damon Smith and the beautiful mistakes took some time out of the studio to head back to The Longbranch in Raleigh, North Carolina. The guys opened for CMA vocal duo nominee Blue County. Many in the crowd were eager to catch another Damon show as he was well received when he performed there in December 2004. Once again, Damon did not let them down and gained many new Nomads at his show. He returns to The Longbranch on May 6-7th of this year.

For the second time in the last year, Damon joined his friend/artist Blake Shelton for a show in Greensboro, NC. They truly enjoy being on the same bill and, as always, it was a great show to see. Blake's single "Some Beach" just reached a 5 week run at #1 on the Billboard Country Charts.

January 8, 2005Many people are expecting 2005 to be the big year! Damon has been working on his much anticipated new record with one of music's top producers. They expect to complete the project in late February. This album will include Damon's national radio debut later this spring. Stay tuned for more details.

November 3, 2004Damon Smith celebrated his 30th birthday on November 3rd, 2004. The celebration took place with many friends and family members who traveled across the nation to be a part of his milestone birthday. "I feel that I have been waiting a long time to escape my 20's. I have a million memories, but I look forward to the success that lies ahead for me in my 30's, stated Damon.

September 28, 2004During the month of September, Damon and his band traveled through 12 states playing 19 shows in 22 days. They went from Amarillo, Texas to Cheyenne, Wyoming. They followed those dates with 2 weeks in Elko, Nevada, and Grand Junction, Colorado. The band found many new fans with their dynamic performances. August 28, 2004Damon Smith ...and the beautiful mistakes have just completed a month long tour throughout Texas. While on tour, they performed at the world's largest Honky-Tonk, Billy Bob's Texas. Damon opened for Columbia recording artist, Trent Willmon, on Friday night and country legend, Don Williams, on Saturday night. Damon rocked the crowd and was welcomed back for future performances. June 12, 2004Damon Smith ...and the beautiful mistakes performed at their 1st annual Fan Club party held at B.B. King's Nightclub in downtown Nashville. Damon's fans are called "The Nomads" which is Damon's named spelled backwards. They played live for about an hour before meeting fans from all over the world. April 29, 2004Damon Smith ...and the beautiful mistakes have been added to this year's CMA Festival lineup, with a live performance at the Acoustic Roundup. This 30 minute show will take place on June 12th at 12:00 noon at the exhibit hall in downtown Nashville.

April 27, 2004Damon Smith ...and the beautiful mistakes have been added to an opening slot with Jeff Bates (The Love Song) on July 10th, 2004, at the Nashville North Theatre in Taylorville, Illinois. The show will start at 7:30 pm and tickets are available for $23.50.

April 15, 2004Damon Smith ...and the beautiful mistakes have accepted an great opportunity to headline this year's Southwest Airlines National Spirit Party. This huge corporate event will shut down streets in downtown Nashville on May 5th, 2004. They are expecting 5,000 Southwest employees to attend from all over the country. In adddition, the A&E network will be on hand to film part of their second season of "Airline- The Life of the Southwest Employee."

March 30, 2004Damon Smith Fan Club will hold their 1st annual Fan Club Party during CMA Music Festival this year. The event will be held at BB King's Bar on 2nd Avenue in downtown Nashville on June 12, 2004, at 4 pm. All current "Nomads" will be receiving invitations via mail during the month of April. Guests may attend with an official member or by becoming a Nomad themselves.

Feb 3, 2004It's official!!! Damon Smith's website is being called the fastest growing website in country music. The amount of traffic has continued to grow rapidly over the last year, and in the month of January 2004, the website's hit average jumped to 103,000 hits from the 80,000 average hits in the previous 2003 months. This is due to all the great fans from all of the prior shows, and all of the wonderful Nomads spreading the word of Damon's music. Keep up the great work!!!!!

Craig has had recent hits on the country charts with "Almost Home" and his new single "Every Friday Afternoon." Craig will be playing the Grand Ole Opry before taking the stage at Harley Holt.

Damon and Blake both grew up in Ada, Oklahoma, and graduated from Ada High School in 1993 and 1994, respectively. Jan 1, 2004On New Year's Eve 2003, Damon Smith...and the beautiful mistakes sold out Coyote's in Louisville, Kentucky. This was their second time to play the venue. Tickets were sold on both Ticketmaster and at the door. The capacity crowd reached 3500.
